The plane crash of the notorious archaeologist Dr. Hanz, alongside all of his research, has been discovered. Your mission: retrace his steps to uncover what happened to the sacred Idol of Kapookan. Explore the surrounding areas and venture through the caves of Mount Kap to uncover all the secrets, mysteries, and solve the many puzzles left behind by the ancient Mayan people.

How Do You Play?
Flip the Start Card and begin your adventure!
Using the items found in the Mission:Maya game box, you'll need to solve all the puzzles you come across during your journey. Every card you flip will be a new area to discover, a new item to decipher, or perhaps a trap that ends up wasting your precious time. Solve all the puzzles and challenges to unlock the Lockbox and discover the Mystery inside.
Map Cards
Map cards are the path you're currently on. The further along in your game, the more Map Cards you'll have. These cards piece together to form a completed environment. Each Map Card holds new, undiscovered Items and information. Sometimes, you'll reach a dead end, or perhaps a locked door that you'll need to revisit.
Item Cards
Item Cards are typically found on your Map Cards. They can be secret engravings, an encrypted sculpture, an item you've unlocked, or perhaps a trap. Item Cards can sometimes piece together with other Item Cards, or may even work together with some of the physical props.
Puzzle Solutions
When you find a secret code or have the solution to a puzzle, you can enter it into the Code Input on the Game Page. If you get the correct answer, a message will pop up with further instructions.
Hints
Stuck? Need a nudge in the right direction? No worries! All you need to do is enter the card number into the Hints Input on the Game Page and a selection of hints will pop up.
Difficulty
Mission:Maya was designed for players of all experience levels and has no set difficulty rating. Each puzzle is different, some more challenging than others. There are many factors that will affect the overall difficulty of the game- Your level of experience, age, group size, etc. This is why we have crafted hundreds of detailed hints for the many puzzles and challenges you'll encounter.
